Holika Holika Aqua Petit BB Cream Review

Hello! :)

I recently ran out of my BB cream so I decided to try something new. I purchased one of the Holika Holika Aqua Petit BB creams for $4.89 USD which has 30ml of product. There are 5 different kinds to choose from but they only come in one shade which is kind of a light-medium beige. They have a range of skin care benefits and SPF levels. The one I purchased is the Aqua version. It has SPF 25 PA++ and contains green tea extract and glacial milk content according to the product description. It is supposed to replenish moisture and is recommended if you want something that is lightweight and refreshing.
This BB cream does feel relatively light and blends nicely but it does not have high coverage. It really has very little coverage actually. It does even out my skin tone but this will not cover blemishes or acne scars if you have them. You can apply a concealer overtop though if you need a little extra coverage. This BB cream does not sink into my pores or accentuate them like some other ones do.
This product does scent to it if you are sensitive to perfumes. I don't really mind it and can't smell it after I apply it, it smells vaguely floral. This product irritates my sensitive skin a tiny bit. But only in spots that were previously irritated such as drier patches.
Honestly this is a meh product for me. It definitely isn't bad and if you have dehydrated skin that needs little coverage then this could be a really good product for you, especially because it is pretty inexpensive. I personally feel like I would like a little more coverage. And while the BB cream is on the lighter side, I feel like for the amount of coverage that you get that it should feel even lighter. I was going to swatch it on my face but you really couldn't see much of a difference between my face with and without the BB cream in the photos. I swatched it on the back of my hand with some black eyeliner so you can see how it performs. My hand is a tiny bit dry but just ignore that lol.
Unblended
Blended overtop left half of the eyeliner. Right half is uncovered.

  Things I liked:     -The price
-The size (Because if you don't like it then the tube is small so it's not the end of                                    the world)
                                 -It feels a bit hydrating
                                 -Very travel friendly
                                 -Doesn't sink into my pores
                                 -Looks natural

Things I disliked:     -The size ( I also dislike this because if you don't live near a store it would be a                                    pain to keep reordering)
-Very low coverage (other people may like this)
-Irritated my sensitive skin a tiny bit

Rating: 3/5

I would say that if you want to give this a try it is low risk because the price is low and it is a small size. I would recommend this for someone who has few imperfections and would like something hydrating and natural looking. I do not think that this is a bad product, I just don't think it's for me. I purchased this at Beautynet Korea here. This review was unsponsored and the product was purchased with my own money.
