Mediheal Teatree Healing Solution Essential Mask Review

Hey everyone :)

Today I wanted to review one of my favourite mask sheets of all time. It is the brand Mediheal Teatree Healing Solution Essential Mask. It claims to help problematic skin that secretes too much oil as well as to soothe irritated skin without stickiness. The mask essence is soaked into a "skin cellulose mask sheet" which is supposed to fit with a silky touch and fit fine lines and wrinkles to help deliver the essence into the skin better and to help it absorb well.

The brand Mediheal says that they "incorporate special skin prescription and know-how of skin specialist to provide custom solution for individuals based on their skin concerns and renews the skin to look and feel like it has received professional skin management."
The mask contains teatree leaf oil, Pinus densiflora leaf extract (a type of Japanese red pine) and Portulaca oleracea extract (an annual succulent with medicinal properties). It also has teatree leaf extract, witch hazel water, Centella asiatica extract, and sage leaf extract as some other notable ingredients. This mask does contains alcohol if you are sensitive to it but I have had no issues with this ingredient. There is no fragrance listed in the ingredients list either. The mask does kind of smell like teatree though and just kind of medicinal but I don't mind this at all.
Honestly the physical mask sheet itself is just so great. That is definitely one of the things that makes this mask one of my personal favourites. The physical sheet can really make or break a mask. This sheet is super soft and silky and it's on the thicker side without being heavy or itchy. It feels almost thin yet plush? Also it adheres to my face so well and the mask has so much serum in it that I leave it on way longer than the recommended 15-20 minutes. I also get absolutely no irritation or reaction from this which is a huge plus for me. I like to use this mask when my skin is feeling irritated or dehydrated or if I am breaking out and need something soothing.
I think that this mask delivers on everything it claimed to do. I did a nose strip a few days ago and it was terrible and basically took some of my skin off. My skin has been pretty irritated since then but this mask helped soothe everything and my skin just feels moisturized, neither too dehydrated or too oily. Also a lot of brands make pretty lofty claims about the material their masks are made out of but I do not think Mediheal was exaggerating. I did not get any weird tenting or poor fitting areas with this mask.

I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the Mediheal masks. I have tried the Dress Code Violet type as well and it was also really good and I will review it sometime soon. I just think the ingredients in the essence in the teatree mask suit my skin type better. I have combination-oily, sensitive and acne prone skin. My mom has also tried some of the Mediheal Collagen Impact Essential Masks and she really likes them. I think that this brand has a lot of great products and basically any skin type will be able to find a mask that suits them.
I bought a full box of these for $35 CAD from a local store called Hot Koco. You can also find them online at various online Korean stores or on Amazon. Have you tried any masks from this company? If you have then let me know what you thought! :)

What I liked: - Fits well
                             - Great for sensitive skin
                             - Lots of essence
                             - No strong perfumes
                             -Non-sticky after absorption
                             - Doesn't cause breakouts
                             - Really great mask material

What I didn't like: - Can be hard to find if you don't have a local retailer who sells them

Rating: 5/5

This review was completely unsponsored and the product was bought with my own money.
